LIFO

Go Back

Definition

Last In, First Out method of inventory management generally regarded as inferior to first-in, first-out (FIFO) methods. The key argument against LIFO is that older inventory could sit in a warehouse indefinitely and if a quality problem were discovered on older materials, it would be difficult to isolate the suspect lots of material.
